Did anyone else feel that Hermione was really unappreciated by Harry in the last book? It seems that even when she did amazing things he didnt really care and when she screwed up he hated her. I just think that she didnt get enough credit...well not from Harry at least, do you?

Macbeth during the banquet:

The Story is called "Standard of Living" - by Dorothy Parker

The story is about the lives of 2 women that have a very shallow friendship, that they formed with each other. The two women, Annabel and Midge, are very slim women who work as stenographers earning about 18.50/week. The women engage themselves in a very interesting game. This game is bascailly a fantasy game on what you would do with one million dollars. One day they go shopping and see a pearl necklace that is worth 250,000 dollars, one quarter of a million. The woman are rather disappointed that a quarter of the imaginary money must be spent to buy a single necklace. After that they revise the ame raising the money recieved to 10 million dollars.

I mostly take pictures of children. I'm looking for something quick, good bit of zoom, and that will give me clear pictures. Also don't know what my problem is but I always end up with a good bit of camera shake not sure if there is a lens that might not be so sensitive to that. Thank you in advance for the help.

We seem to have bottomless respect and blind trust of specialists (and sometimes thats good but not always) Very few people seem to value being able to see accross disciplines and look at the 'bigger picture', the bigger issues.

We've gotten quite good at isolating the variables and solving for them but in the process we frequently lose sight of and feel powerless over bigger issues.

Even when the value of a broad education is grudgingly admitted, we end up placing all our faith in the specialist anyway.

Even here on Yahoo, people get little orange banners to show that they are specialists in their field but there is no recognition of interdisciplinary efforts (not that a megalomaniac wants or needs a little orange banner to be validated) but it would be cool and perhaps even beneficial if we could figure out a way to reward and encourage boundary crossing thought here on Y!A and in the world at large.

ok i have an audition for a very prestigious musical theatre program for college in 2 weeks. Im very nervous because this could really launch me into the rest of my life. Im a senior in HS and im just really nervous i know im not gonna have as much experience as a lot of people who are auditioning but music is something i can['t live without and being able to become someone else on stage is absolutely wonderful, so i know this is what i love and what i want in life Even if i don't get paid i still love doing it. I have a Nikon D80 and when I take pics in rooms with dark wood floors/walls the flash kicks down unless I set the flash low which is too low for the amount of light I need.

They see statues of Jesus and his mom. They see paintings all over the place. They see priests and preachers that are elevated on a platform. They hear stories from the day they were born about angels and devils and demons and spirits. The entire religion or religions are created in the greatest art in the world. A fantasy is delivered on a silver platter to them constantly. Then they have the stupidity to say they have faith and believe without seeing. Christians do not know the difference in a picture and reality or even come close to believing without seeing. When will this religious stupidity end?
