I am living my life the best way I can....
In the past year I have let go of the pain of why not this or why not that..........
I am OK just the way I am and sometimes even better then OK.........
I do not think anyone has an easy life ....
we need to help our families our bosses our co-workers etc... we work as a team and sometimes we get so caught up with wanting certain things to happen in our life from our pain and depression and even anger we start to live the life of another that takes us absolutely no where because in the end we are not true to ourselves be live a life of a lie instead of facing the hard fact light of reality which can be extremely painful but it is the only way to go and heal and move on for a better way of life and to come out of the dark hole that we put ourselves........

When I was a kid, I tried to live the life of another. I constantly wanted to compete with this girl that was a pianist in my class. I always wanted to be 10X better than her and I had a lot of catching up to do because I started lessons later than her. I caught up in college after we were grown and went our separate ways.

It was at that point when I realized that it was stupid to live that way. So, I changed my major to accounting and started living my life. A little late but I am glad I did it.

Anyone that competes with the Jones' next door by getting the better SUV or the more expensive pool table is not living his/her life. Trust me...there are more of these people than you can shake a stick at...

my Life

Respectfully, I'd like to rephrase this to express me.
I am living my life, & my life involves others.
What I do in my life, with clients, friends & strangers, is try to "put myself in their shoes" in order to understand & better guide them. One could interpret this as "living the life of another," but it isn't really.
I always live my life, yet focus on others when needed; thus--this is a "part" of my life.
There must always be a thin membrane of distance to keep myself from "mind melding" (!) & completely draining myself to the point that I'd be of no use to myself, or others.

At present, both, mine and a few others, but; people lived their lives for me when I needed it, why should I not return the favor to people who need me now?
