they are convinced? Why would astronauts who've been so moved while in space by god's creation convert to islam? why when you look at human being hand, does it spell out in arabic the name of God ((allah) ? see for yourself thru science and not the media and religious talk. Look at the science in each holy book and assess your belief there. I find it impossible that an unletterd man Mohammad 1400 yrs ago would know about the moutains, embrology, water system, universe, the different colors of the bottom of the ocean( which we only found in the 21 st century!) How could this man know about the fingerprints, the mind (psychology ) and which part of the brain is respnsible for lying and many many more examples??? How could he compile a book so perfect in its eloquence that no poets or man in the last 1400 yrs could produce a couple sentences ( god's challenge) ?

My cameras inbuilt exposure meter only calculates shutter speeds up to 30 seconds long. Anything longer and you have to use bulb mode.

What I want to do is set my camera meter to a very high iso such as 3200 so that I can get a shutter reading for the night scene, and then use this shutter speed to calculate a shutter speed for ISO 100 film.

How do I calculate this?

I hope you understand what I am saying!

thanks

people always say "it takes a real person to walk away"

i see people who walk away as BACKING DOWN and leaving with there tail between there legs. and then turning around and trying to justifying there cowardice by saying that its the violent who are the cowards. yet people FEAR the violent. and that fear is what makes a coward. a fighter isnt scared. but the one who runs away clearly is

how is a "violent" person a coward if they do NOT LOOK for a fight. but they assault a person when they are disrespected, confronted to fight, or sticking up for a friend or an animal?

Our parents and grandparents have done it all. They've lived through the times of war, poverty, corruption.. They went through hard times, and were part of rebellions and protests.. They've immigrated to America so that their children wouldnt have to suffer like they did..

Our elders have lived.
I mean, truly lived!! They shed blood sweat and tears, all to give us the life they never had.

Now, we live in comfort.
..In boring comfort. Taking for granted all they've been through.

They fought the wars.
They've kept starvation away from us.
They gave us the oppurtunity to further our oppurtunities..

They've done it all.
..and now theres nothing that we can do.

Theres nothing we can do to truly live anymore..

..do you think this is true?

I enjoyed a Clockwork Orange not only for its unique, interesting, enjoyable language but also for the philosophical value woven into its dark storyline. If I liked this, what other books might you recommend to me?

I currently have a Fender J Bass that's tuned to B-E-A-D (one octave lower than it's supposed to be), and I was wondering how I could learn how to play without paying. Things I would accept would be online public domain references, etc. Any ideas? Thanks, your answers are always appreciated!

Think of a poem off the top of your head. It must be a poem of your own.

For example: The colours of the rainbow have no meaning
and I myself have fears

See just a quick easy poem. It may not make much scence but it sounds wonderful from my point of view. If you can't think of a poem just like that you are not a poet, if you think of one after a minute of so you are talented and if you can think of one of your own straight away you are a true poet and you rock.

Just thought it might be a fun thing to do and a fun question.

Idea: write something about what you are feeling or what you are looking at.

Thanks I hope to get some awesome poems!

From Ash

I've read :
Annie frank, Doctors from hell, hitlers ovens, twins of mengele, night, eye witness awschwitzs, the reawakening, three years in the gas chamber.

So basically im really into reading stuff about the holocaust and i was wondering if anybody else has any suggestions for other ones. I really like the descriptive ones. I'd also like to find some books with pictures. So if anybody has any suggestions plese do so. By the way, the ones i've read are really good books.
