The texas chain saw massacre did not happen for real as it is portrayed in the movie. The movie refers to a serial killer Ed Gains. Gains was a farmer type boy who was unhealthyly close to a domineering mother. When his mother died he became more of a recluse. He live alone in his house. HE tehn took to digging up female corpses and making ornaments out of their skins and of course using their private parts for shall we say personal gratification. He did not stop there. He kidnap some women and ended up killing them. He deguted them like deer and again use their skins are ornaments and other parafanelia. The best portrayal of Ed Gains is in the movie psyco. The movie psyco was the real ed Gain. I mean ed did not live in a motel but his facination with his mother and behavior between the psyco guy and Ed Gains is as close as I would it imaging it to be.
