Hi everyone,

What do you think about my life? How can I improve it? (Sorry for the poor grammar--English is my second language.)

I am 22 years old. I am a lower middle class. I am a virgin. I am a good person. I am studying full-time (last year in a Master's program) I am working two part-time jobs. I want to save my money ;therefore, I have no cars, no phones, and living in a little room. I hardly have a social life because I am spending my time working and studying.

Sometimes, I am proud of myself because I will have my master's without debts or student loans. Sometimes, I feel so discourage and down to see other people my age have fun and enjoy life while I have to work so hard.

What do you think? Please advice. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I mean, how do you move your fingers so fast. Is it on the fretboard or the strumming? Or both? Or in different ways?!? Please explain. Because I know how to do funky strumming, but how can I go really fast on the fretboard so I can solo.?

Let me start off by saying its kind of a sad, emo-ish poem/song with no background. The situation inferred in it has no relation to any event in my life. Its just... emo. I don't normally write this kind of stuff! It just kinda fell into my head, and I like it. Will you suggest improvement? Or, perhaps, another stanza? :3

Here it is:
---
I saw you lying there, gasping
for air. So I kneeled next to
you, and you said to me,
"I can't hold on anymore."
Please don't leave me,
you are not alone.
Please breathe!
I need you next to me;
I can't let you go-
Another sad song written,
another heart beat fading,
another life gone wrong!
Please breathe:
Come back towards my light,
see the tears I cry,
come back to me~
---
Your thoughts?

I intend to go to a book signing in a few weeks and was wondering what the etiquette was. Specifically, I want him to sign 3 copies of his new book: 1 for me and 2 for relatives of mine. Is this OK? Is it usual? Is this too pushy?

I really respect him and wouldn't want to irritate him by being vulgar.

I'm doing this painting of a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor, but I want to do some research before I start (I want it to be as accurate as possible).

When I say turn-of-the-century, I mean sort of this nostalgic old time ice cream parlor that was the hot spot on Main Street, where all would gather to have a Coca Cola and listen to the player piano, just that sort of thing.

For some more help, I'd like something similiar to the Coke Corner at Disneyland (located on Main Street U.S.A.)

here's a picture of the Coke Corner on the outside, just to give you an idea of the time period.

I'm excited to see what you can give me!
Thank you!

When I was 5 I was in a movie. (This was in 1996 btw.) I was part of a union, and 2 years ago I recieved a cheque because they played the movie on tv. I recently checked imdb.com, and found out that the movie is playing again in Britain, twice. Does that mean I'll recieve another check? How long can you get money for the movie? Do they stop paying you after a number of years?

I am looking for a pedigree chart. I used to have a good one that was lined where it said "name" "born" etc. but I can't find that anymore.
Anyone have a chart they really like that you can link to?
Nothing fancy. Thanks!

In the past year I lost my two best friends. We've been friends for over tens years. There was just so much unessesary drama, that I really didnt feel like dealing with. Example: You hang out with her more blah blah blah. Stupid crap like that . The other one has a boyfriend who is really taking over her life. I dont want to get in the middle of it because it's not my place. My point is... I'm trying to get my career going , I just got married. Lately I dont mind it being just me. Do friendships really matter as you get older?

Imagine that you are the author of your book. Write a letter to your publisher that serves two purposes. 1.speculate about two possible endingsto your story

I want to start a folk band but most of my friends all play guitar and nothing else. I play guitar, piano, drums, and I'm totally willing to learn a new instrument if needed.

I just need to know of some other folk band that isn't solely one guy playing the acoustic guitar and singing. I would love to hear some with piano, cause it's my favorite.

My family just purchased "If I Did It" by OJ Simpson in order to benefit Ron Goldman's family. We got a huge kick out of reading the cover which has the title in huge, all-red-letter caps "I DID IT" and a tiny little " if " barely noticeable on the front cover. Since there is really no other way for the Goldmans to get the money that is due them for the wrongful death of their son, we thought it was a good way to show our support for the family. Does anyone else plan on buying it JUST to make sure the Goldman family gets the money they are due? And, if you buy it, do you think you'll read it or keep it as a collectible item...likely to be worth more money once OJ dies? How else do you plan on using it? (Clean and mature answers only, please. I don't like profanity.)
