I mean, how do you move your fingers so fast. Is it on the fretboard or the strumming? Or both? Or in different ways?!? Please explain. Because I know how to do funky strumming, but how can I go really fast on the fretboard so I can solo.?

I learned long ago that my right hand picking isn't as fast as most guitar players so I concentrated on fingerstyle playing. My mentor has always been Chet Atkins and I also studied Andres Segovia and other classical and Flamenco players. Because I am not a flat picker I rely on thumb pick and manicured nails on my right hand to catch the notes needed, often using Flamenco style-strumming to do the job.

My left hand fingering is as fast as most guitarists get. As explained earlier in responses, it takes years of focused practice. And when you practice, go at it slowly until you can master the exercise. Don't rush yourself.

A lot of practice and finger dexterity excersises.

I know it seems like it's impossible to get that fast right now, and there musst be some secret we aren't telling you, but that's really all it is. The other day I was playing and just realized "****, if somone told me I'd get this good when I started, i'd never believe them."

Practice practice practice. It will depend on how bad you want it.
If you stick to it, muscle memory will develop naturally, and you will execute scales without thinking.
It comes down to one thing....as said by a great musician..."the mind in thinking, and the fingers in executing".
It's all heart. How much do you love music?
