When you get lost in reality and loose sight of your direction, it is always helpfull to find your written list of goals and go through it every now and then.
Keep it handy, for reality is very devious.

Auditory people don't have this issue. A visual person who cannot "see" the future, the path, their goals, etc. is going to feel pretty lousy. Adding auditory skills can improve one's experience of life.

When I make presentations in the community, I bring "visual aids". If the visual people cannot "see" a connection they can often go astray, experience boredom, disinterest and general distress over conceptualizing.

Without fine tuning auditory skills, visual people can find education to be boring and uninteresting. The people tend to like tv, video games and such.

The Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

Prayer and thinking about all of the wonderful things in my life - like my husband and son. It makes me remember that everything else pales in importance and that they are the only path that matters. They ground me, humble me, lift me up, and love me - that is all that matters in life and it doesn't get more real than that for me.

Good question!
