When I was 5 I was in a movie. (This was in 1996 btw.) I was part of a union, and 2 years ago I recieved a cheque because they played the movie on tv. I recently checked imdb.com, and found out that the movie is playing again in Britain, twice. Does that mean I'll recieve another check? How long can you get money for the movie? Do they stop paying you after a number of years?

You need to look at your contract. It depends on how much you get for foreign play and also each time it plays, generally the amount goes down so you'll get less and less each time until eventually you get checks that cost more to mail than what the check amount is :-) As for the amount of time before you get paid, sometimes they're backlogged so I wouldn't plan my holiday shopping around it. Just be glad when it comes.

This question would be better asked of your union representative.
