Dave stared at the man standing opposite him. He was tall and menacing, with wiry hair, and flashing eyes. An unspeakable fear coursed through Dave. He tried to speak, but all he could do was whisper. He trembled, his hands shaking fearfully. The man did not speak, did not move, only stared at him. As if he could see past his face, his body, and deep inside of him.

Dave started, then sat up in bed. He hated the nightmares he'd been having lately. He hated the way the man seemed to follow him, terrorizing not only his dreams, but his job, his bike rides, when he took Lorraine, his girlfriend, out for a movie. "I guess I should let go of these dreams," Dave said to himself. Then he laughed. "What am I, crazy? I'm talking to myself like a lunatic!" He rose from his bed to get ready for work. Later, when he was enjoying a break from fixing cars, Dave sat on a bench in the mechanic shop and sighed. He was exhaused from the morning's work. It was a clear spring day and the shop had been

I can make clay pieces myself but am wondering if there is anything to take note of if I were to use them to serve food. I mean must I use special glaze or firing techniques? I would like to teach my primary students to make them for use in class. Thanks.

If you prove God exists or realize (assume or form an image for Him) His existence you have really destroyed Him as your god. You have in this case made an object of Him just like any other object in the universe. That depreciates His value as a superior consciousness capable of creating all that is including you.. It is necessary for God to remain an abstract principle of faith for Him to have value for you other than an object of argument.

I am 12 years old. I have had alot of acting experiance already and I really would like start auditioning for more exciting things like commercials, TV shows, movies, Broadway muscials, etcetera... I live in the New York City area and I already have headshots and a large resume. I know all about agencies, but I don't have one. I think that agencies would like to represent someone who already has experiance on television, movies, or broadway. So if you know of any good websites for getting safe acting or modeling jobs please tell me about them!

I've always wanted to read this book.

I do know about those classic characters, Icabob Crane and the Headless Horseman!

My favorite movie intertaption of the book is Sleepy Hollow, directed by Tim Burton, and it stars Johnny Depp. It was very good when I watched it.

Has anybody read the book or seen a movie intertaption of it?

The Cry of the Soldier

A slight wind touches
my tear streaked face
as I step out onto
the blood stained wasteland that
was once my home.
Death slithers through the bodies
feasting on the sorrow,
crawling up my body
and threatening to devour.
And I can look no longer,
stay no longer
live no longer.
Concieted are the killers,
ignorant of the lives taken,
familes torn apart.
They see death but do not feel it,
numb against the slicing sting
that can come from no blade.
I cannot have done it.
I cannot have taken innocent blood.
Men are happy to sacrifice, but why
is sacrifice happy?
Who can rest with a stranger's blood on their hands?
And I can look no longer
stay no longer,
live no longer....

My day spiraled into a whirlwind of adventure today when I got an urgent messege from the Queen of Worchester. She told me to get to the castle as quick as I good because the Kingdom was under attack. Before I even made it to the kingdom I could see the havoc the attackers had wreaked. the streets were crawling with uninvited guests. As I walked into the kingdom I began to see the wreckage the beasts had caused. It was mayhem. It looked like the entire castle had regurgitated it's contents. I made my way to the battle front as the attackers came at me. I fought them off one by one. Grabbing food from the dungeon to hold them off. Finally the battle slowed to a halt. And we knew that we had won. I helped the noble servants clean before I left, and told the Queen to call on someone else next time!

I got called in to work today at Gap, it was full of tourists! Everyone came at me from dif directions wanting this and that in another size/color. By the end the store was trashed.

Rome prided itself in its military might and expected its leaders to be strong military leaders. Men like Caesar, Trajan, and Scippio Africanus were typical of roman leadership.

However, Rome shared its load of spineless leaders who would not have known the difference between Armor and 'Amor. Nero comes to mind.

Name a few of Rome's leaders that did not possess classic Roman military skill over the legions.
