Music needs air to exist and travel. In space/vacuum there cant be any music/sound waves.
Similarly all objects are made up of various materials. Door from wood, tumbler from glass, toy from plastic etc. also various materials are made up of various molecules.
Light is made up of photons.
Animals and creatures are made up flesh & bones.
Etc.

However, every person is always thinking various thoughts. Some times he is thinking of music he heard before & enjoys its playback in mind. Some other time he is thinking of various objects , people, food etc.
Now the question is what these mental objects are made up of.
You can measure the properties of real objects but how do we measure properties of mental objects in thoughts.
On what ground these mental objects exist? Some one will say MIND but we dont see nor we can handle mind as a measurable object. By the existance of thoughts only we can imagine existence of mind. So how do we go about controlling the existence of mental objects?

Ok, this is related to the age-old question of how this Universe began. Nowadays, we have the Big-Bang theory, the Unified Field Theory and all the Grand Unified Field Theories to explain how this Universe evolved from the Big Bang. But isn't there Conversation of Mass and Conversation of Energy. Then what came before the Big Bang. Did it all just sprouted from nothing. Or is it eternal- no beginning no end. And let's say the Creator created everything. Who created Him? Could He create Himself? And the most puzzling of all, Why does SOMETHING exist in the first place instead of NOTHING at all? I mean, Why something and not nothing?

If scientists were to succeed in cloning a human being, would that clone have a soul? If so, when does that soul come in?

It seems every time scientists come up with a new medical or biological technology, they're accused of "playing God." Considering God made us in his "image and likeness," doesn't that mean we're supposed to be like Him? I'm specifically wondering about this article:

It's Genesis 2!

Christopher Hitchens insists that religion "poisons everything." While, without reading his book yet, I can see how this might be true. It does bring about separation between people- resulting in problems. John Lennon asks us in his awesome song "Imagine" to imagine that there's no heaven- to help "all the people live life in peace".
I say that if we can't find a common ground, we'll never have peace.Personally I like to think that we can find unity threw diversity- with that making us stronger people.
If we exclude religion from our life, would it really make a positive change? Or would it just be one damn thing after another regardless?

Ok. I love art. I love designing. I love computers. I play guitar, and write poetry. I also have 2 novels in the works. I am also developing my singing. Yes, I have alot on my plate, but I manage to do it all. I would like to pursue a degree, but I do not know what to go into. I am getting my basics currently. I would love to sing for a living, (yeah right) or draw and design stuff. Or even write. Any advice?

It was another magical day the ocean sparkling as he continued wading in the luke warm water which he was in up to his chest, traditional spear in his hands, its bamboo shaft well worn from excursions such as this with the stainless steel prongs sharpened to a needle point to penetrate even the toughest skin of his prey.
There was a little movement to his right as he fixed his blue eyes onto it watching the shadow slip within range complete unaware of his stealthy presence as he lifted the spear and in one fluid motion threw it at the shadow. The spear end floating on the surface twitching wildly showed that it was a direct hit.
Swimming with enjoyable leisurely strokes he reached the spear and grasping the end placed his feet on the sandy bottom lifting the spear slowly from the water to reveal another beautiful but large specimen of Australian sand whiting.
