One of the best quotes I know of is from the Shakespeare play "King Lear" , where Lear says to Gloucester; "Get thee glass eye, and like a scurrvy politician seem to see the things thou dost not!"
What a ring of truth about our politicians today! Shakespeare was as bold and courageous with pen as any man with sword!
