i have to explain why it is a major point of the constitution that liberty is secure. also if you think something is more important than this in the constitution (besides the elastic clause) then please speak up. by the way annnnny advice is good. thanks

yeah i know it is in the preamble along with the constitution, amendments, and federalist papers.. i didnt ask where i can find information on it. ive read the constitution about 4 times. its just hard to put into words why they made liberty a main objective. its like trying to define "time"

That theory is a farce. The Constitution outlines the basic organization of the federal government. It essentially removes liberties by consolidating power under the federal government. Additionally, The Constitution, in it's original form would never have been ratified if it were not for the promise of the Bill of Rights to also be included.

The Preamble sets out why we were doing what we were doing. It is THE point of the Constitution, the Revolution - you name it.
"Just an American" has my vote.

Don't look at the constitution then, go deeper/go back and address WHY it was written.
