How would you define true greatness? Or even just the word great?

Some of you say that good things like caring for fellow men and a world without hunger is greatness, but can you deny that people described as evil are not great. Like Hitler or Napolean, even though they slaughtered many people, were they not great men?

To me 'great' implies quality or rarity as opposed to big that implies mere size.

Greatness to me is defined and exhibited by looking beyond yourself.
When you take care of your fellow man willingly, then you have achieved greatness of spirit.

Other than that, being the premier of something will get you listed at great.

True greatness would be a world without war, hunger, homelessness, crime, natural disasters, suffering of any kind or death, etc.
