eventually going to die anyway? I just don't buy into the belief that we will be rewarded for all our good deeds in an afterlife. That's just wishful thinking. Aren't we all just really waiting to die and be over with it?

“Give it Up to Gain it All”

The happy life, a life molested
For this need for greed is being tested

And I see this sea of greedy chaos cursed
So through trial I seek within myself first

Because why should I conform to a society depressed
When most need getting their values addressed

How come lying and stealing somehow seem so appealing
Since it is in the end that we still are not seeing

That the content fly by with no need to try
And the rest feed off greed as they whine and cry

So I’m taking a stand of a life without vain
Because the popular view make’s all sane insane

For our sin corrupted will guide us astray
So fill your heart with the Lord that you may
Find peace on this earth and in Heaven some day

There is no truth that is truer than He
There is no truth truer, than He

Mark, carefully lie on the hospital bed knowing that I am at his side writing his "Journal of Life"(as he called it).
He has had a series of operations (this being the last) with the hopes of curing his fatal disease. None of them panned out; and now, fully aware of his foreboding death, wanted to share himself by immortalizing some of his passing words.
Again his tearing eyes opened as he started to whisper... "In our travels through life, we must retain our loyalty and trust with the people that we know and love... for it is all that we have to cherish on the voyage to each of our own destinies. "
Mark faded off again at the final stoke of my pen.

So many perspectives, at so many different times. The finished product should be (say the least) quite profound. Once again Mark stirred,
but this time he did not wake up;
instead rolled to his side
with a slight smile on his face.

I make models and figures from Super Sculpey and sometimes I put gemstones in them...

Amethysts go yellow once they come in to contact with heat, will they still retain there original colour at 275 degree F (130 degree C) as this is what heat is required to cure Sculpey,

Thanks

Im an aspiring modeling student. I was accepted in my first interview with the JC center in Tulsa, OK. But I have been hearing disturbing rumours that they dont actually find you jobs and they charge way too much. Does any one know if this is true and if it is, can someone tell me the agency with cheapest training (if any) and most effective in bookings.
thanks.

I don't know you
Only me
I've always been alone
You see
I only know one
Not two
That's why it's hard to
Be with you

You might think I am
All you need
But you shouldn't
Be with me
You can't fix me
You can't help
So for now
It's just myself

FINAL FLIGHT OF LIGHT

sunday morning.
your voice slid a slice of light
into my eyes,

your smile dusted the debris
of memos and bills
off my shoulders.

and i wished the time
to stand still
so that i could cling

to the tender laughter
in your eyelashes;
so that i could lay my head

on your tiny thighs
and listen to the riddles
rivuleting from your tongue.

riddles that yesterday
were rattled and clipped
by the anger that oozed

from my eyes, mouth, and fist –
a beast that refused the warm breeze
brought by the sea of your why’s.

a, how i wished i could tie the sun
and lift it above the hills
a little longer –

i still would like to play with you
to annoy you, to say sorry,
and to sleep embracing you,

my child. but the dusk
has already fluffed its wings, the wind
has whistled the final flight of light.

I'd rather not get into a long series, so a collection of 3 or less books would be ideal. I've read Lord of the Rings, and the Death Gate novels, and some of Robert Jordan, among other things... I just really want to read something new. :)

I am flying next month and need some good books to read. I am very much into romantic suspense books. I do like Nora Roberts and another book I read was The Perfect Husband. I have found a few online that I think I might be interested in but I like to hear recommendations from other people more. If anyone can let me know what they liked I would appreciate it.
