You should look at some of Linda Howards, she has some really good ones. Kiss and Tell, Game of Chance-Now you See Her-Mr. Perfect. Some kept me looking over my shoulder as I read them. Iris Johansen has several out, The Ugly Duckling-No One To Trust-And Then You Die-On The Run-The Search-Body of Lies. Dinah McCall is good, Mimosa Grove- Bloodlines- The Return- White Mountain. She has lots more and she also writes as Sharon Salsa. Lisa Jackson's- If She Only Knew- Almost Dead- Final Scream- She How She Dies- The Morning After- Whisper-The Night Before. I think you will like any or all of these.

I also like Nora Roberts. A while back I found Janet Evanovich. She writes mysteries with some romance in them, and they are laugh out loud funny! She has a series about a female bounty hunter and I absolutely love them. The first in the series is One For the Money. There is quite a bit of cussing in them, if that is an issue for you. However, I could read them over and over.
Catherine Coulter writes suspense with romance. Fairly similar to Nora Roberts, but more about murders, etc. I also really enjoy hers. Here is a website that gives you a list of her FBI series (which is awesome) and gives you the back cover of each story. http://www.catherinecoulter.com/text/fbi_series.htm
Hope this helps!

if you like humor (lots of it) in your romantic suspense books, try the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovick. Each book has a number in the title so you know which to read first, and most of the first 11 are in paperback (total of 13, with two unnumbered books).

i in my view like Christina Dodd, her fortune hunter sequence is extremely fascinating. I also have a lot of authors in case you have an interest, possibly no longer in th romantic suspense form yet incredibly in the romance form. a number of my favorites are incredibly paranormal suspense romances... you will possibly desire to look into those authors... Suzanne Enoch Susan Sizemore percentcast Christine Feehan Sherrilyn Kenyon

The Dogs of Babel, can't remember who wrote it.
It's quite good, I highly recommend it. The wife dies mysteriously and it details how it happens and how he deals with it.
