I'm writing a regency fiction, and can't think up a name for it that's not too corny.... It's about a courtesan and a Viscount. So here's the titles I thought up of:

-Come in with the rain (I really wanted the word "rain" in my title...but I don't think it's very historical romance-ish)

-Go the distance

-In Her Eyes

-Remember When (My friend said this was the most suitable)

-The Runaway Courtesan (this is the present title I'm using, but it sounds a bit...corny? Or so my readers say. And I'm not to satisfied with it myself)

-And I Kissed Him

Anyways, any more suggestions? I'm horrid when it comes to thinking up titles. I'd like some suggestions of titles that might include....say....."storm" or "thorn" or .... "Remember" yah, lols

I asked for tips and help before on writing a book but I got really great responses last time, but I want even more. I would really appreciate if all you writers can give me some tips, some mistakes that you made when you were still a beginner, etc. Anything that would help me with my novel. Pretend that you're talking to someone that knows nothing about writing a novel or a short story.

It doesn't have to be general, it can be specific or anything.
Thanks in advance!

I'm sure this has been done to death and I searched and found a bunch of useless stuff I don't care about. So I just want the straight, quick answer. When did Ancient Rome and Greece exist and what areas did they cover? Actually as a quick extra, if they were around at the same time did Rome conquer Greece?

I'm not sure how to write dialoge in my book. The first copy of the book that my friend read, made her a little confused about who was saying what.

i know that you have to start a new paragraph evertime someone new starts talking but i dont know whether to do something like this or not.

Amber says, "How could you do such a thing!" Leslie laughs and says,
"It was easy, expecially with you to help me out."

or is it like this???

Things work out at times but it seems the reward is almost always a contorted and compromised version of what was being sought after in the first place...

A while back I was at the mall and some Page Parkes representatives asked me to sign up for their Faces of Summer model search thing. So I did. I just got a phone call to come to seminar and evaluation thing on Saturday and I am clueless. They are going to talk to us about getting into the industry and finding an agent. Then they are going to have us do a short commercial to evaluate our appearance and personality. That makes me SOO NERVOUS! What do I wear???? How do I act??? Also they want us to bring a few recent snapshots from around the house, what kind of pictures should I bring???

It would be great if someone with experience could answer my questions. As I said I am totally clueless and inexperienced so I need things explained in detail...

I'm an actress looking for an agent, and it's so stressful, cause i don't know where to start! Is John Robert Powers just a school? Or is it an agency that will place you with an agent that will get you work? Can anybody recommend how to look for a good agency to try and sign with?
