It's the cycle of life: to be born, live, die. It hurts when someone we love dies, but it is inevitable that we all die. Immortality would be quite boring.

If we keep perfecting technology we won't die. We are living longer that ever. So then we can only stop over population by preventing or controlling birth. We will begin farming ourselves. The earth will be unhappy without its quota of fertilizer. That is what happens to us old people when we die. It is our last assignment.

Have you seen how overpopulated it is in some places of the world? If no one had died since time began we would have used up all the worlds resources by now and there would be no way to keep everyone fed. It is hard enough with this many people. Think of it as recycling. I know that it is tough to think about death and to face it, but it must happen. I wish no one had to die, but it is the way of things.

And there is another reason.
That their bodies "wear out"!
And i believe the brain does too. Before this noticeably
happens i think that its possible that its capacity-its
retaining-capacity if you like, reaches a limit after which
the brain "sifts-out"unwanted stuff(!).
Or perhaps its just happening to me!
Because it seem to me that the longer one lives, the likelier
that ones particular body does wear-out;so its only "natural"
that a theory must be sought for the brain also.
So a limit of what the brain can-take-in,rather like a computer "hard drive",seems to me a workable theory.
