They each have their own qualities, so what you have to do is go to sag.org and print out the list of agencies for whatever state you live in and then send in your picture and resume if you have one. If they like your child's look, they will call you in for a short "interview". You make the decision whether to deal with that agent after speaking to them because they don't call if they don't want to represent you. I have found that Colleen Cler Agency(California) has been the best for my son and daughter simply because they utilize all three areas: theatrical, commercial, and print. They always give you a days notice for auditions unless something comes up at the last minute. Whatever you do, don't ever pay for representation. Legitimate companies do not charge you for anything outside of photos, which is a necessity in the entertainment industry. Acting lessons are one thing, but paying these other places that promise auditions and commercial work are another. Good Luck!
