I need to know how to get one!

It depends on the city where you live. The procedure to get A Talent Agent is NOT the same in every city.
In NYC, actors mail a flyer about the production in which they are apperaing to the Talent Agents, inviting them to attend their production.
If the agent attends and like the actor, the agent may or may not get a call from the agent. It is not easy to get an agent. Unfortunately, many actors think they are more talented than they are, therefore an agent is not interested.
Acting is very difficult.

You can find one in your city at www.whitepages.com. They are probably listed under talent agencies. Most of them have websites or you can give them a call. You'll also need a head shot. You can talk to them about that. Good luck.

You get one by being someone they are confident they can make money with. That is, by being a trained professional who knows the business. Become that and maybe you'll have a chance. Until then don't waste your time.

just adding to that, you don't have to pay them either, they just get 10-15% of your earnings.
