In the stars i see the light that shines upon you face,
Then suddenly there is no space between you and me.
We hold each other so very tight.
So loving in the pale moon light.
Then lighting strikes, a sheet of light toward the tree that’s behind me.
it makes you glow so very bright.
But it burns so much I am in so much pain.
I Just want to leave right now!
Now we are standing by the moon as happy can be.

I love what is called "foodie" mysteries. These are mysteries that have a tie in with cooking or the food industry. Writers like Joanna Fluke and Diane Mott Davison are good examples of this genre. I'm looking for a new series to read. Recipes are a must!!

I have noticed that a lot of people have questions about Harry Potter! I am pretty much a Harry Potter Expert! (not bragging cause a lot of people are)! So if anyone has any questions about the books, movies, or predictions about upcoming movies and the book, Just ask away. I will try to answer them. It's easier than taking away points by asking questions. Ha! Just ask the question and I will get you the answer. And I am making a list of questions that I want answered in the 7th book. I am going to post the list on my website for other fans to answer! So... Any Question/Predictions Will help! Thanks!

I really want to start using soft pastels, but I have no idea what brand I should get. I have recently just used "school grade" pastels, and I have produced pretty good stuff with them, but I just want to continue working on more art over the summer. I've been looking at Rembrandt pastels, and i'm wondering how those are. -Side note- I am also wondering if there is a subject that works better in soft pastels, rather than paints, or colored pencil. And what makes it suitable for each medium. Thanks

I read this when I was 12. It was about a little girl who lived in a foster home. For some reason, she goes to stay with her aunts and they're mean to her. Her uncle is the only one in her family who treats her nice. Later in the story, she discovers a dollhouse in one of her aunts rooms where the dolls are alive. She loves spending time with the dolls and at the end of the book her uncle passes away and she goes to the dollhouse to console herself and her uncle is one of the figurines. I can't remember the name of it and wanted to read it again.

We noticed all the African americans and Biracial african ameriacans had 25-50% sub saharan African ancestores and 30-60 percent caucasion anscestores 20-40 native American ancestres the spectrum was astaunishing one girl thought she was full black and shes only had 20 percent African gentics and 40 percent white 40 percent Native American...

The funny thing was 6 out of the 8 white children had 7-11 percent west african or sub saharan african ancestory and they didnt want to beleive it some though tit was cool some said they didnt believe it others said the test was a crock ! Theres was only one full caucasion because shes straight out of Russia no American mixing ! There was white girl who had 10 percent east asian ..

Now what I dont understan is how do all these whites kids in my class have black ancestores one girl was 20 percent subsaharan African and she was shoked the Ironic thing is some black were around 20 percent so we found that to be kinda funny...

I have recently notice that I have problems writing good female characters with real depth, instead of shallow "wife of..." in my stories. While my male characters go from a melancholic office clerk living in a large metropolis from a wild, mad tycoon playboy and a southamerican dictator that convices himself that he is "doing the right thing for the nation". I have problems developing female characters

I think that trying to write a leading female character would be a great excersice I have this idea that is a little clichéd story but I think may help me to write

Any advice would help and will be thanked by advance

I was told that some NY Salsa Instructors are prejudiced of black people. I even seen it for myself at some of the classes/salsa socials here in NYC. If you notice, most performance teams are not even diverse - its like you have to be 100% latino/latina to be part of a performance team, or not "look black" for that matter. And if you are black or "look black", the prejudiced people will try and stop you from suceeding in any salsa dance endeavor you embark on, meaning they attempt to shatter your dreams in obvious and subtle ways. This is the message I got from my experience in the salsa scene and boy is it sad.

I'm a brown-skinned woman of mixed nationalities, and being Hispanic is one of them. I cannot believe the prejudice going on...100% Latinos/Latinas from the Caribe have African origins too. Why act wrong toward someone who enjoys dancing salsa and "looks black"?

I just do not get it. If someone has the answer to this one, please do tell.

I'm not sure what's going on with me these days, none of the poems I'm writing are very alike. I'm not sure what I think about this one. It's a bit different from my usual stuff...let me know if it works.

Screaming Silent

The wind became my voice
when no one else would speak
for me. I learned its secrets
made them mine.

Storing fury beneath
a fragile calm. Learning
to walk in the ways of the invisible,
the hidden. Filling
my lungs with the chill, soft
resistance. Waiting for the voice
to come,
to resonate;
bringing
the thunder,
the release,
the power
unseen.

Let's say the world was in a post-apocalyptic state (no government, horrible new diseases and anything else you can think of) with everyone on the run for themselves and you had a friend or acquaintance that was badly injured and there were not hospitals. Would you be that person that would want to drag them along? or leave them for the better of the group? Just doing some research for a novel.

I will be doing a mass mailing to agencies in Chicago, NY and LA with my headshot, resume and coverletter, however now I'm wondering if I should send out a demo reel as well? I've gotten mixed opinions regarding it from actors and agents. Some say yay while some say nay. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!
