A friend of mine did this. It's an early experiment to see how well something like this will do on YouTube. There are still a few bugs to be worked out but I would love to know what you think.

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=barzman

Click on the ‘Watson Art’ video and please let me know what you think. It’s three and a half minutes long so if you’re not using DSL or Cable and you're using dial-up it might be a long download. DSL or Cable will be quick.

I am really curious about this because we need to see how these non-video videos will work out. So please let me know what you think.

Thank you.

I'm sending in a resume, headshot, and DVD of my singing to Spring Awakening casting. I have to send it in this week or next week. I have no idea what song to sing. I think they said they want a song that is more rock/folk sounding. But, should I just sing a song from the musical . Any ideas? I was thinking about singing a Jewel song, but that just seems too hard and too over-played. What do you all think? Please....

It is good that everyone can get a chance, but it is so over saturated with authors( some seem barely literate).. How can someone get a real chance at marketing? I advertise all over, but cannot get any sales. Any pointers? Any other writers self publishing cause of obscure or controversial subject?

The Bud Vase

Upon my windowsill, there sits
a simple jar of glassy face
That come of late, I find it fits
to be a perfect small bud vase.
I stole a flower from my mum
-who had a bunch of flowers, so
I took the daffodils and some
scissors when she did not know.
And when she wasn’t looking, I
found the perfect little bud
I cut it, and I found inside
that flowers also bleed of blood.
Never ‘fore in all my days
(of stealing flowers not my own)
Did I so ever find Life plays
among the veins of flowers grown.
I cut its stem, and there it bled
green to tips of my fingers
And though the flower long is dead
the scent of its blood still lingers.
But so, to rid the vase of Death
I filled it for the job it suits;
Inside, I put some Baby’s Breath-
careful, this time, to keep the roots.

There are some instances when a person strives their whole life to make the world a better place and then at the end realize they have done great harm instead. Is it more important what they intended or what the actual results are? How do we evaluate our lives when we have a shift of perception late in the game?

Is this keeping the human race from getting rid of crime, etc. (reaching utopia)

Why do people keep on going if they already know that they won't be contributing to human progression?...and that they are diluting the earths resources? Should "survival of the fittest" be applied to humans as well?

If you have a good and fulfilled life then you will be able to answer this question, if you don’t then please imagine that you do to be able to answer this question.

You have a good life, you have a great job, good health, the love of your life, etc. Life is good to you.

Now imagine you take a trip to a foreign country where famine and pestilence prevail. Where the policies of one bad government after another have placed the country deeper and deeper into the hole and as such people are starving and suffering.

Next you travel to another country where a natural disasters has levelled massive sections of the cities, millions dead and millions more homeless. Everyone who is alive is suffering from disease brought by the millions of unburied corpses still stuck in the rubble of the cities and the famine that comes from a massive collapse of the infrastructure network.

Now you travel back to your home, your great home and your great job, the love of your life, and everything that you left safely there before your travels.

Do you feel guilty about having so much when others have none or have lost all and what would you do about this guilt?

Why then, if most people would do something to help someone in another country who they do not even know, feel nothing for those that have lost everything or have had to struggle for the meagre things they have within their own community?

Serious answers only pleas.

Thanks.

Love is a passion
But lovers turned it sour
With their unrealistic expectations
Years of relationship collapsed within hours

Words are told but never turns true
Shedding tears, the action most couples do
Fall in love but not with their partner
Blinded by lust leading them to disaster

In the still of the night
I vow to make you happy with all my might
To be with you I won't surrender the fight
Earth Angel, I won't let you fall to the wrong side

I can't promise you miracles
But I'll stand with you facing obstacles
I can't swim seven seas to be with you
But leaving you in aggravation is something I won't do

You shine lights to this dark heart of mine
Bind me with heavenly feelings no man can find
Knowing I'm a pessimist when it comes to love
You proved that it's a special thing sent from above

In the still of the night, I prayed for your arrival
Finally God have sent me the special girl
Now it's my turn to make it happen
This poem is the first step to our heaven.
