The use of Alchemy in this story is already obvious. Even JK Rowling herself confirmed that she uses Alchemy when writing the series.

This site http://harrypotterforssekers.com studies the influence of Alchemy in the series. If you don't know what alchemy is and how it could affect Harry Potter, that site has all the information you could need.

Although many people say that it is impossible to predict the plot of the last book, you have to remember that as long as the plot itself follows the rule of alchemy (meaning the rules of a structure THAT ALREADY EXISTS) it is possible and very easy as well.

I'm quoting the site now: 'The plot is JK Rowlings'; the process which the plot symbolizes is according to spiritual laws and so can be known in advance'

This is not what I said but racist did. There are so many things like this.

>But you'll keep using all the White inventions til the day you die, even though your race had done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in their entire history. Of course you will try to point to some quadroon who did something here and there in White societies. Yeah, keep using your indoor heating and plumbing, your cell phone, your automobile, your computer, etc. Every time you turn the key in the ignition, turn on a light switch, dial a telephone number, sign into the internet, pop a dish into a microwave oven, or even flush the toilet... you're reaffirming White power! It must be quite a burden you ape!!

It is wrong, not right at all and stupid but when I read those kind of thing, I'm so obssesed and sad. I feel so down and can't really think about happy thing. Why? How do I get over/ignore it? What do I need?

I'm not sure who will become the next rider, We already have Eragon, Oromis, Murtagh, and Galbotrix, but who do you think will be the nex There's rumors going around that it may be Roran, but i wouldn't think so they wouldn't have Eragons brother, and cousin Both riders, i'm hoping it's a chick rider, that would be very cool.....

I'm supposed to be discussing how The Cat's Cradle has both a utopian and a dystopian society in it. I don't see how it has either. Anyone who has any idea about the subject please let me know!!!! Also if anyone has any good quotes from the book that pertain to the theme or style of the book I'd appreciate it. I'm horrible at picking quotes.

I read once that there was a female author who was a great influence on CS Lewis' Narnia books. She was a children's author and it is thought that one of her books influenced Lewis into using the a wardrobe as the main transportation to Narnia. Also, I remember reading that much of the early part of "The Magician's Nephew" was influenced by her, especially the portrayal of Jadis.

For the life of me, I cannot remember her name. Anyone know?

The theme is kind of like "zen for the future", and I don't personally want to have illustrations, but some people have recommended it.
