Is Will Self known outside the UK?

Hi John B.
Well, glad someone has heard of him. Personally, I don't think the subject matters too much as his writing is so fine. I most enjoyed his book "Feeding Frenzy" which was simply restaurant reviews!

He is hardly known outside the UK. Since most of his work deals with London and his interpretations based on the city, without knowledge of the city, it isn't very useful. However, I found it interesting and wished that I could return to London once again.
