The third book in the inheritance trilogy, what do you think will happen?

I'm not sure who will become the next rider, We already have Eragon, Oromis, Murtagh, and Galbotrix, but who do you think will be the nex There's rumors going around that it may be Roran, but i wouldn't think so they wouldn't have Eragons brother, and cousin Both riders, i'm hoping it's a chick rider, that would be very cool.....

Yeah i'm with you Hp. It would make sense for Paulini to coninue it on with Arya, being the next rider. Althogh how she'll get there i don't know. and then Paulini might just add in a new character in the third, or it might be some completly random person under Galbotrix's control finding the egg touching it or whatever and the egg choosing that person.

Maybe you'll get your "chick" rider with Arya.

I'm predicting the continuation of the "Star Wars" themes from the first two books. We've already had the terrible revelation of a despicable father (albeit, from the now-evil brother).

Eragon will continue to pity Murtagh and attempt to turn him to good, and Eragon will be captured. Murtagh will end up saving Eragon and betraying Galbotorix, dying in the process.

Arya will become the next dragon rider, and the story will end with Arya and Eragon together, and Arya's dragon and Eragon's dragon making the first dragon egg since the downfall of the riders.

It seems to me that roran will be the next rider .
1 because i think being a rider is a trait among eragons family.2 because roran has already proved him self aginst the empire fighting the razac and taking the whole village to surda and he also fought for the varden when he killed the twins.

I think that it's going to be Orik because there have never been any dwarf riders. (i might be wrong about that......can't remember if there were any dwarf riders or if there were just a few)
