Do they want a page for themselves to know me or a paragraph blurb to go on my book's back? Am I supposed to sell myself to them or to the end-reader???????????????????????

They want a biography so they can pick the good stuff. Just give them a lot of good stuff to use. To the end-reader, you are to write a small paragraph about yourself. Degrees, expertise, father of 10 kids, etc. In the central Texas hills of Austin overlooking highway 290, etc. I'm just throwing junk at you and having fun.

We will write and while we're writing we'll laugh a little too. You can add this or something like it to your bio. Four paragraphs will be enough.

What on earth is an authors' services company? Do you mean a literary agency?

This shouldn't be that difficult. Write one or two paragraphs about yourself, listing first your professional/writing related achievements and ending with one personal line about yourself, family and/or where you live. Read book jacket bios for ideas on this. And for heaven's sake, use only one punctuation mark per sentence.

why don't you ask them for more details?
or search the internet for "writer's bio" and see what other people have as samples.
