Does "no qualifications" mean that you've had no training, no clases, period? If so, I really wish someone could explain to me why people aspire to become a professional when they don't know the first thing about what it is like to train in the field.
At this point in time, you're doomed. These things don't happen by waving a magic wand or being discovered. If you were a natural in hip hop or bellydancing, things might be different. But pretty much everything else requires years of training and tons of other aspiring dancers have been training for years by the time they're 19.
If you really want to dance, then it's never too late to start learning. Take some classes and then see what it's all about.

Honey you are better than that but if you really want to try taking a ballet class at the local ymca or a local area for beginners that will give you the stretch you need but really you are only 19 there are better ways to make money you can go to college or anything are you sure thats your goal in life? Dont do anything you will regret later on your still young

19! wow that's a little late, but still posible. i started when i was 3 so why should it matter if you start at 19? you just cant expect to be a famous dancer after like a year. i've been dancing for 9 years and i'm still not professional material, i'm not even close. if you really want to be a pro dancer then you will need to take lessons for like 20 years then you will probably make it pro.

What has made you want to become a dancer? It seems as if you've never even tried it before. Before you decide to become a dancer you should discover the love of dancing as that's the most important thing.

Yes and no. If you go out and get qualified as soon as you can and work hard enough, you MIGHT not be doomed. As it stands, without qualifications, you are certainly doomed. Better start getting those dance lessons, eh?

Forget ballet - it is WAY too late for that.....as for Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, you need to start right now with a LOT of classes at the best school you can find. If you have incredble talent, you just might make it, but don't get your hopes up....

you're not doomed, if you work hard enough, you can get anything. if you're starting dancing for the first time at 19, though, you might not become a prima ballerina, but i'm sure you can become a professional.

I started when I'm 18 and worked my butt off to get where I am today. If you take classes and put your soul into class and learn as much as you can - You can definitely learn to dance.
Even at home you can stretch everyday.
Good Luck.

You can achieve whatever you work to achieve. At 19, you still have a zillion options for growth. If you want to dance, figure out where to start and GO.
