Ok, so it's not a book but this happened to me on my first (and only) visit to America, I was on a bus alone and feeling a bit nervous because I had never used public transport before outside of my own country. So the bus was empty except for me and then this guy gets on and where does he sit? Right. Next to me and I was a bit scared and didn't know what to do because I was next to the window and hemmed in. Then, the guy gets out a massive wad of papers and starts reading, I couldn't resist the opportunity to have a look, and there it was in black and white "Ways to kick your marijuana habit."

Oh deary, I get a lot of people reading crap when I'm sitting on the train - and as usual, I'm nosey :P
The other day 'How to unwind after a hard day at work' (that was in the morning!) and I came across a granny in her early 70's reading a Harry Potter book which left me in total shock. I haven't come accross an 80 year old reading about 'sex tips' yet though..

Anyway
take care
continue to be nosey, like me! xXx

One day, no joke, this old lady had a little paperback called "I'll sit in front if I want to" And she was next to me...in the back...with only 6 other people on the bus...and the front was empty...all the way to the second door...I think the driver even got off to pee...

I sat facing some geeky looking lad on the train a few years back and he was reading a book titled " How to survive an asteroid" or something very similar. It was in the late 90s and someone had obviously used his savvy to cash in on the films Armageddon & Deep Impact

'88 reasons the rapture will happen in 1988'. A bit dated and wrong apparently.
