Im a recent graduate of Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts and I would absolutely love to get involved in doing makeup in theatre. However the ones I went to and asked about were either too small to have a makeup artist or union. I know theres got to be theatres around that need me. I know the best way to get a makeup artist job is networking but I dont know too many people out here cause I just moved all the way from Wisconsin. Can anyone help me out on telling me who, what, where or how I can find the job Im dreaming about? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'm an artist and I love my Converse Chuck Taylors. Naturally I would like to take my obsession one step further and customize my favorite shoes. Only problem is I've never really painted clothing before and I don't want my work to be ruined easily.

Any ideas on what types of paints to use on my shoes and what I can do to protect the artwork afterwards?

Do you use a flash? What kind? If you use a tripod and slow shutter speed, it would blur the subject. How do you get good lighting indoors without a harsh flash?

I know this is an odd question, since we all think of the Clinton years as a time where the economy was great. But apparently, because of social programs or something, the debt went up during Clinton's first term. This is a question for my history homework...and I'm stumped.
