Well, you never know when you are going to die. Just recently, someone who was in the same high school as me was killed in Iraq. Life is short, yes, but you can extend your life just by making the most of the time that you have. Give people a reason to say, "Yeah, I remember him/her. He contributed so much to society." Give people a reason to say they loved you rather than hated you. Tell people how much you love them often, and contribute to society. To truly understand the fragility of life, go abroad and volunteer in slums in India and China. See people living happily based on what you did to help them, and you will feel maximum satisfaction.

I don't think life is short, maybe we make it short. I guess we people have become greedy and want more and more. our father God does the best for us, so if life was short than no doubt God would make more. Well, even if we lived for 500 years still we would say that life is short.
