I've seen and heard of people who dislike Jews. I don't know the real reason.

This is going to sound really stupid, but my friend commited suicide and he once told me about his favorite poem, and I can't remember it well, but it was something about him waiting so long, that the grass grew so high, that his friend or something walked right by. I wish I could remember it better, I think it's chinese and I don't think it's in the tao ti ching, though he was a big fan. If anybody has the slightest Idea what this poem could be, I'd be very grateful

There was no noticeable economic difference between Carter’s time in office and Reagan’s time in office
Americans tended to hoard their money in fear of another depression

I've only just started using oil paints as we are using them this semester at college. We are using oil paint all term so it would be nice if i could enjoy using them, it just makes painting a chore with all the cleaning and waiting for dry. I was wondering if anyone had any techniques they use or just any helpful hints in general would be great..just any handy hints please :).

Just finished reading a book that was supposed to talk about a plot regarding 3 suicide bombers and the (female ) author just kept describing how everyone was dressed and how handsome her MI5 collegues were! Why doesn't she just write articles for Cosmopolitan and leave the rest to real good writers such as Frederick Forsyth and Hubert Selby?

I'm looking to increase my speed and I read that playing while having your thumb over the neck doesn't help at all. I read that you should instead use "a light touch" in handling the guitar when attempting to play quickly. Can anyone explain what this position should look like?

From memory the idea is that prior to the performance, the dancer is as if struck by lightning, and all emotions and traces of humanity are burned from them. Thus purged, the performer can begin. I’m trying to learn more about it, but without a tag it’s tough. Thanks!

Read Carefully: you eat animals for food(or at least have done so) and allow killing of animals to continue. Isn't that evil? Doesn't that mean we're all going to some sort of hell one way or another?

If an all-powerful, all-knowing being created another, what if he gave him all knowledge but the knowledge of his (the original's) existence? Rather, how can God or a god know this is not the case? Again, God can do anything, so could he not create a copy of himself whose only difference is that He thinks he is alone? Could there be an infinitely long string of Gods that each believes He is the original?
