I was wondering what the poem was called, who it's by? I can't remember any specific lines, something about taking a walk and pausing for a moment and feeling the person you lost beside you?
Please, if you could help....

Think of this scenario.
I am a person you know (e.g. friend, relative) and is quite close to.

I want to introduce a friend to you.

I told you he is gay.

Now, you look at the person. What is your impression?
(e.g. what he looks like, rich/poor, charming, ugly etc)

When you logically prove something and someone doesn't believe you, they will often say "there is a higher logic" implying that the way our logic works is not true.

Godel's incompleteness theorem (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6del's_incompleteness_theorem) tells us that there are true but unprovable statements and that basically anything proven with logic is uncertain correct?

However, his theorem was created with logic! Is his theorem even certain? How can we escape this loop and show that any "higher logic" has just as much uncertainty as our own? It seems impossible to me.

I don't know the name of the author or the title, but I know the author killed himself before it was published. I believe his mother found the manuscript and had it published. All I can remember is that the main character worked in an office with an extremely old woman. I think it came out in the 70's. I know that's not alot to work with, but any ideas will be appreciated.

The essay is to write a critical movie review of a film. My question is what type should I review? Should it be a well-known film that has won awards, or a good film that hasn't won any awards? I'm not sure exactly what the admissions office at the film school is looking for. Any ideas? Thanks!

In the book are you born into being a Party member / prole? Can you cross over from being a prole to a Party member and vice versa? I would think to leave the Party and become a prole would constitute some sort of crime and be punishable but I don't recall this subject being broached in the book.

Can Hip hop be compared to Mozart for example, or are they totally in different leagues? Is is pure snoberry to say Mozart is worth more than hip hop? Does democracy skew the debate with its instance on having the masses decide what is good or bad?

Maybe nothingness is to be without your presence,
without you moving, slicing the noon
like a blue flower, without you walking
later through the fog and the cobbles,

without the light you carry in your hand,
golden, which maybe others will not see,
which maybe no one knew was growing
like the red beginnings of a rose.

In short, without your presence: without your coming
suddenly, incitingly, to know my life,
gust of a rosebush, wheat of wind:

since then I am because you are,
since then you are, I am, we are,
and through love I will be, you will be, we'll be.
