This is going to sound really stupid, but my friend commited suicide and he once told me about his favorite poem, and I can't remember it well, but it was something about him waiting so long, that the grass grew so high, that his friend or something walked right by. I wish I could remember it better, I think it's chinese and I don't think it's in the tao ti ching, though he was a big fan. If anybody has the slightest Idea what this poem could be, I'd be very grateful

could it be this one:

WU WEI

Wu Wei is the principle of living,
Live your life like water;
It flows from mountain to the sea,
On its way the water is giving,
And serves all creatures, you and me.
Hills and boulders block not its way,
For water will always flow around
And settle not for it recycles
Even when the sea it's found.
When life you find is dull or dreary
And problems build to make you weary,
Remember Wu Wei, to flow around.
It is not life which blocks your progress,
But the stubborn self-made dam.
Tear down your walls and restrictions,
Lists of what your ideals are,
Rid yourself of preconceptions.
Tao and Wu Wei is the best by far.
