Yes. That is why we need to honor our constitution in the USA. People have an unsatiable urge to control one another.
Whether you believe in god or not, you must acknowledge the power of the concept in the mass consciousness. Individuals in government will happily step up to the plate to "play god".

haha,, why do you think god is playing with big brother,, though big brother seem to be the god of his house, it doesnt mean hes playing by god. he sees all the movement and things inside his house jus like god, he sees us in every little thing we does.
