I can't agree with the answers above.
Martins haven't been "worth the money" for at least 20 years, I am sorry to say.
You can get MUCH nicer guitars at MUCH better prices if you ignore that venerable name. Look at Santa Cruz, Yairi, Klein and others if you want a great guitar that actually isn't overpriced.

I have never encountered a bad Martin. They're all worth the money.

What condition is it in and how much are they asking for it?
Martins are generally really good guitars. If it's in good condition and not too high priced, buy it.
