Okay......

1. The Picture of Dorian Gray. Setting: 19th century England. Author: Oscar Wilde. Description: I read this last fall and really enjoyed it. It's about a man who's portrait shows his sins, and his face doesn't. The picture IS his concience. This book might make you think a little........

P.S. Prepare for a surprise ending.:-)

a child called it- sorry don't know the author but he was abused really bad as a kid and it tells his story...its incredibly sad...but a realllyyy good book
Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer- about a girl who moves to a small town and falls in love with a vampire....Don't worry its not some geeky story, there is alot more to its really good. www.stepheniemeyer.com( i absolutely love these books!)
Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini- a boy finds a dragon and he must conquer the evil king galbatorix... definetly recommend it.
(these descriptions are really brief)
I have never read them but many people in my grade are and they are called Fablehaven...and then there are these others called inkspell or inkheart..never read them but heard good things.
memoirs of a geisha-don't know author, but good story even though you might need to skip some parts cause they are a little graphic...its about a girl who gets taken away from her home and grows up in a house for geishas, and she becomes one, but every step she takes is to get closer to the one she truly loves...
Harry Potter..if you haven't already read them...everybody knows what hp is about
Fairest by Gail Carson Levine- its a fantasy story about an ugly girl that can sing who finds an enchanted mirror that makes her beautiful and the queen tries to sabotage her...
