You know what I think. Keep asking, I love your creative questions. You seem like a very interesting person.

Sometimes I don't feel worthy of answering your questions, because I don't think I could possibly come up with smart enough answers to do them justice. But, I try. :)

500 is not a magical number at which curiosity suddenly becomes sated and the world and hearts are miraculously understood (or... maybe it is; I am no authority).

If you need to ask, ask. If you wish to answer, answer. Proceed as your need and curiosity lead you.

One comment though: Balance in all things is usually a desirable state. I tell my students that those who ask the most questions are the ones that generally find the answers they are looking for. But there is another side to that: those who ask and listen and internalize generally have a lot to offer. So... my point here is that I think you probably have a well of knowledge and information to offer. And always, you have a perspective that is unique from any other. So, please: share. Makes the learning that much rounder.

Ha! What would we do without you? I don't know why some people are making an issue of the number of your questions, what does it matter? I just checked & you have almost an equal amount of questions & answers. & the interesting thing, is that I have NEVER even looked at your answers. Because, I spend so much time on your questions--reflecting, wondering. You have absolutely no equal. Your depth is awesome. Honestly, I don't think you could stop if you wanted to. & I certainly hope you won't. Your questions take me on incredible journeys. Insights. You are truly a beautiful person, & I can't imagine why you would ask THIS question. If you "feel" like answering more, then do. But, very selfishly, I look forward to your questions every day. You add a dimension to my life.

Enki, Enki! You know your words but you don't know your numbers very well :-)
You have asked 475 questions. You are not permitted to start thinking about quitting. Not untill you reach Q728 :-)
Even then, you can't ask if you should stop asking but whether you should change category :-)
Whatever the case, before you reach the 728th question, make sure that the questions you ask make YOU happy and serve a purpose for YOU and EVERYONE else. Believe me, they BOTH do. If it makes you happy to ask questions here, do it.
I guarantee you that the type of questions you ask are meaningful and HAVE a purpose.
They make us think, even if some of us don't have the time to devote in answering all of them.
Should you ask or Should you answer?
The answer to that is
Reflect.
Like when you look in a calm body of water and see your reflection,
Whether it's you that one sees or the image of you in the water,
the impression is not much different.
So, I would say, reflect your inner
thoughts, mind and soul.
and if that is done in a QUESTION or ANSWER form
coming from you
it makes no difference because
either way it is YOU that is beautiful and I know for sure I love reading BOTH :-)

If you continue to ask questions, I would recommend that you ask them in more appropriate areas.

First of all, I find that most of your questions assume and hinge on a belief in a specific monotheistic entity. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this, of course, but a question of that nature would seem best placed in a section actually having something overtly to do with religion, neh?

Secondly, many of your questions seem also to depend on specific definitions of one word or another. Since you do not supply any of these definitions, it would seem that you are looking for the definitions themselves rather than trying to actually weigh the merits of one idea against another. These are also, therefore, not philosophical questions except in the sense in which language itself is vague and a subject of philosophical inquiry on that basis.

Even this question presupposes any number of things in its asking, such as the appropriateness of any particular numbering system and a familiarity with your work. To me, it comes off as a crass attempt to garner praise. If we as the audience assume the most altruistic of motives for you, then why are you not instead asking if you are achieving those specific objectives instead of just whether we like your questions or not? (That's another supposition - that what is good is also attractive)

That's as much as I can honestly say without (hopefully) going past what is reasonable. You asked.

Peace.

Congratulations. Don't stop the questions. I don't know how you go on finding time to dream them up but they are always intriguing. Which is a nuisance, occupying my time when I intend to do something else, but you're forgiven. It could be equally interesting to see your answers, though. Your following says it all. My Dad used to say any fool can come up with an answer, but it takes a wise man to ask the question. Good luck.

You should ask if the questions are in you and you want to ask them. Those who do not wish to answer your questions can simply scroll on by....

As far as answering, i don't know anything about your answers, but come on - this is Yahoo for crying out loud - not a shrink's office or anything.

No, your questions are tops. I just really wonder how in hell you come up with such things. Your brain must be going overtime every single minute of the day!!

You may ask more questions than answer more questions, BUT if you stopped asking questions, the rest of us would have nothing to answer! So keep asking!

If you were to quit asking questions then who would make me think? I love your questions but especially your answers. You make me dig deep and ponder about your questions.
However if you don't find some pleasure in asking and answering then you should quit.
I've always felt that to quit asking and searching for answers was to quit learning.
By the way Enki you are only at 475 questions. I don't think you should quit asking or answering questions. As to which would suit you better-I think you have a lot to offer in both categories. Your questions cause us to think and your answers have taught me to view things differently. Thanks for that and good luck on deciding what to do. If the choice were in my hands I would say don't go-your questions are stimulating to the mind and your answers often put smiles on my face :)
