Every time i watch the news, some DIES or something really HORRIFIC happens like now, Virgina tech.
Im traumatized by the news, its too depressing and too life controlling for me to watch the news. i have to believe that the news is fake and most of the bad stuff is acted to protect myself.
What i cant understand is why people do such inhumane things like kill other humans? attack and abuse?
What would make them do such things?
its so confusing to me how anyone can just randomly kill someone for no reason.
its ruining me in a way, im terrified to go out at night, im terrified to live in America which is my dream. i CANT trust anyone.

I've been working on my family tree and can't seem to find any of my family members from Tennessee? I've been working on ancesrty.com, gencircles, one great family, etc. Can anyone help? My grandfather is Robert Licoln Violet and he married Melda Marie Whitaker and I believe had 13 children and one is my father.

Blenko glass decanter, 30 inches tall, reddish orange in color, with a stopper. It has the "sandblasted" blenko marking on the bottom which was only used from 1958 thru 1961, I believe. The artist during that time frame was Wayne Husted. That is the extent of my findings, what I am looking for now is the value of it. It's in excellant condition . It's very unique, and I was wondering if anyone else out there might have one.

auctioneer. He sounded just like those old time tobacco auctioneers that used to be on the Lucky Strike commercials. He talked really really fast. What impressed me most is that he auctioneered for over five hours without a break and at the end he sounded exactly like he did when he started. He wasn't hoarse of raspy or any less loud and rapid-fire than when he started. Does he have stainless steel vocal cords or is there a technique (or drug) that enables him to do that?
BTW I wasn't sure what category to put this question in; it doesn't really fit any of the normal categories.

I can sit all day and visualize art and literally sketch things in my head and see them, but I can't draw. I mean I really can't draw. Should I just give up on art, I mean I can design things on the computer, but just simple things and using drawings people have already created, I can't draw what I see..its confusing..please Help! thanks.
