LONELY RED BAG
18.4.07

Lonely red bag in the hallway
Full of stuff I just might need on my journey
Toothbrush and nightie most important
And the number of my attorney

Its been coming for years
But I didn’t know when
It was just a matter of time
That signature with my favourite fountain pen

Kids all grown and left home
It seemed the next stage was to go
From a black hole in my life
To another world and to leave the show

I pick up my red bag with my cold hands
And I close that wooden door and I shake
Im on my own, no one at my side
My heart does no longer ache

And as I reach the end of our road
I take one more look over my shoulder
The deed is done thank god I prey
The sun is boiling hot but I swear its getting colder

Must be my heart
Its leant to cope with no feeling
As time raced on without me
The minutes and seconds it was stealing

2 part question
Whats the true meaning of the Swastika? I was at the beach last week during Spring Break and I seen a Black guy with 2 of them Tattooed on his shoulder blades. They were not Tilted But one was facing clock-wise and the other was facing counter-clockwise.

I didn't have enough guts to ask him but now I wish I would have.
Im guessing he's either very Dumb Or very smart. He drove away in a Viper that had "FSU" all over it. maybe a fraternity of some kind.

2nd Do you gyus think there should be some type of ban on guns or I mean tougher laws as far as getting one now with this incident?

One major question...if the goal of mortal men is to move on to the next realm, then why live in this one at all? If you know your time is limited, why fight to stay alive? Why is it, in our very nature, to survive down to our last breath? One may ask, who cares?...Don't worry about it...Stop and smell the roses and such. Bah! For what purpose? A man once said, "... everything that ever lived is dead, and everything alive is gonna die...". He's right.

The atheist Bertrand Russell wrote in his book "Why I am Not a Christian" that if it is true that all things need a cause then God must also need a cause. He concluded from this that if God needed a cause then God was not God (and if God is not God then of course there is no God). This was basically a slightly more sophisticated form of the childlike question, "Who made God?" Even a child knows that things do not come from nothing, so if God is a "something" then He must have a cause as well, right?

The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that God came from somewhere and then asks where that might be. The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, "What does blue smell like?" Blue is not in the category of things that have odor, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, God is not in the category of things that are created, or come into existence, or are caused. God is uncaused and uncreated - He simply exists.

How do we know this? Well, we know that from nothing, nothing comes. So if there was ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence then nothing would have ever come to exist. But things do exist. Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been existing. That ever-existing thing is what we call God.

I am doing a Renaissance project for my class. My subject is Caravaggio, Michelangelo Merisi da-the famous italian painter. I have to do a 3D exhibit that is like a museum about him. The size of the project is about 24x12x12-a typical box. We are not allowed to use pictures off the internet-any suggestions for a different way to get the pictures? Also, any suggestions for other things to use to signify his life or his work? Please keep in mind that buying a lot of materials is not good.
