I guess, we don't have much to decide on this one...I believe, celebrities are being born to a world of its own...A world of an average person if I may say so, is so very distant from a world of a celebrity like planet Earth from Mars...Most of celebrities experience special development of personality in an early stage of life already...Preconditions for their success are usually already built in their families, though not always...
If you ask me, I'd rather be what I actually am, that is an anonymous person with his own private life

Celebrity. I can still wear a mask once in a while and be an ordinary person if I am smart enough. The reverse isn't true.

Maslow's theory on hierarchy of human needs (as each stage is satisfied, humans crave for the next one):

Physical (food, shelter) -> Security (money saved for future to sustain food, shelter) -> Social (friends, family) -> Egotistical (be a special person, better than others around me, fame, Celebrity) -> Self realization or actualization (be a thinker and contributor).

Ordinary person is probably stuck on the third stage with a little bit of forrth stage. Celebrities are well stuck on the fourth stage. Stepping into higher stages probably means, there is a bit of less of earlier stages but they can be tolerated.

I would like to live the life of an ordinary person, but I wouldn't mind having the money the celebrities do.

Celebrities do not have a private life, their fans, bookings of shows, and movies run their lives.

So in actuality they are not living their own lives, but their fans, and society are running how they should or should not live.

That is not called living, that is called riding a roller-coaster till they retire, or drop dead from an overdose of drugs. (By mistake of course).
