Have you read it yet?

I think the book's messages are fairly hopeful & positive... so someone could recommend the book 'cause

1) they want the person they are recommending it to, to try and learn to be more positive

or

2) they feel connected with the person they are recommending the book to, and they think that person will connect to the book too...

You mean the book? Let's see...okay, there were some interesting twists to the plot, which are fun for the reader to figure out. The main character is a girl. She's not the typical heroine from a Victorian children's book either, you know, sweet, delicate; she's more angry. The imaging was nice. And adults can read the book so the parent and the child can talk about it.

It's a great book, full of interesting characters and an enjoyable, uplifting story. A must-read, IMO.
