In what ways was US foreign policy shaped by the emerging Cold War in the period 1946-1948?!?!!??

You need to do your own research so you can reach your own conclusions and hopefully learn something about the topic. But I will point out some facts for you to think about.

Of the participants of the War, the U.S. was the only one that did not require rebuilding.

American Industry was intact and able to produce in quantities never before dreamed of.

America had 'loaned' money and equipment to England and Russia and felt the debt should be repaid.

The U.S. felt obligated to rebuild the conquered countries bore so than the Allies. That's why British were still rationing some goods in the early 50's while Germany and Japan were well on their feet.

There was an element of Arrogance and Superiority attached to the U.S. Foreign policy, by perception if not in reality.

Stalin had gotten most everything he wanted by War's end and was not going to be influenced by other nations.
