The growing isolation of classes and ranks.
Lower class think they're soo far behind that they'll never get anywhere so they give up.
Middle class strive to be the upper class and in striving as such enforce the rules created by the upper class.
Upper class create the rules and controll blindly from a pedastal, oblivious to the needs of those below them.

Its actually natural. You see it in nature all the time. Look at any animal with a pack attitude. Many have alpha males and females, beta class and those who are low class. It isn't anything to do with man, just part of our natural tendencies.

That would be the upper class folk who didn't wish to share ANYTHING with those of us who work for a living. I do so love it when one of us working folk come into a lot of money and mess up their perfect little world!!!
