Ever since I was three years old or even younger than that I have never thought that hey presto (god) Who invented the idea that there might be such a thing. I have always lived happily and healthily but cant understand what all this god, boogey men, santa claus, supersticion, fairies, jesus, ghosts, trolls, etcetera came from. But the possibility of beings visiting us from another planet and hypnotizing you to believe in shyte is plausible.

There are plenty of metaphors out there. Some are cliche, some are obscure. I want all of them!
Hit me up with any/every metaphor you can fathom.
The bigger the list, the better.
You are welcome to invent a metaphor, if you like. Add it to the list!
I'm doing a photo project...I just need METAPHORS.

my guy hinted on more than a few occasions that he would be interested to know what it would feel like to wear my pantyhose. I think he got interested because he sees me get dressed for the office each day. I told him that maybe I would consider letting him give them a try, but I didnt say anything more about it. He hasnt asked about it since, but hes been showing signs that hes still really curious. I thought about it and got some advice on it. Now Im thinking that as long as it stays in the bedroom and its something we can share together, why not let him try my sheers? But how do I bring it up with him again? When? Do I wait until he shows interest when I'm getting ready for work? And what should I say to get him to actually try them on?

Church attendance is down is recent years by a significant amount. Do you think this is due to the increasing amount of scientific explanations, or maybe that the world is becoming a crapier and crapier place to live in with humans mistreating each other everyday (like suicide bombers), a combination of both, or something else?

Also, do you think that religion will diminish to include only the minority of people in the near future, or is it destined to remain in the human psyche forever?

If you need me,
I am right here.
If you feel despaired,
Let me catch your tears.

I want to help,
With all of my heart.
But you push me away.
How am I supposed to start?

You are so beautiful,
If only you could see.
How perfect you are,
To me.

I am your friend,
And always will be.
I am here to help,
But what will happen if you won’t trust me?

If you need me,
I am right here.
I will hold you in my arms,
And chase away your fear.

You don’t see yourself clearly,
You only see what’s wrong.
I’ll be right here for you,
Even as you pull away from me, I sing this song.

You don’t realize,
That’s what is important is within.
I will protect you,
Until you are ready to stand in your own skin.

I will stay up all night with you,
All you need to do is ask.
I am here for you,
And I will help you battle your past.

If you need me,
I am here, and always will be.
I love you as you are,
When you are blind to your beauty, I will help you see.

Grandfather’s Wake

Tell me, grandfather, of the ages pasting your face
Like dried sour milk
On thin paper in
The hot sun.

Tell me, grand-daddy, oh!
My daddy!
Is this death the only face
Where I can’t count on you?

Why make me afraid?
Your jaws and those claws curled closed,
Pretending innocence in repose
And that faint smell of make-up.

I’m only seven,
Lying to myself,
Dreaming
I’m already eleven times this size
Still dancing with your shadow
Hitched to my sunshine.

Oh, love me, angry man!
It’s not to play that I touch your hand!
It is to touch. . .
There is no other
Of such solemn and Pacific eyes
The white hair strips
Like sighs for a trodden brow.

Oh, love me!
Not in all of your spells
Has the quiet so prolonged.

Look what you’ve done to me
Just growing old, once.

So, tell me, grandfather,
Tell me the songs once more;
The ones you sang for every living occasion.
Tell me about little girls everywhere
Who aren’t as pretty as me.

Tell me how and what to see.
Give me your lifetime!

(Now he comes, the changed one, looking at us all.
He sees what we feel with the old man’s fall
And he sees
He left his garden.)

Tell me, grandfather, more
About what I will do now.
Why can’t I move them
As you do?
Why can’t I move them,
Those filling, busy people who neglect me?

Tell me, grand-daddy, oh!
My daddy!
Is this death the only face where I can’t count on you?

Did you know you are killing me
Jut growing old once?

The Soviet Union, under the leadership of Stalin, won against Germany in World War II. So despite how Germany could have won if Russia's cold, harsh winter didn't come, or if Hitler wasn't so overconfident, etc, Stalin must have made decisions that helped his country survive the battle...
WHAT DID STALIN DO THOUGH?
~~
Okay, I'm sorry I asked a similar question to this, but in the other question it was mainly about the winter weather and I need some answers based on Stalin...
