A Mothers Stress!!!

I feel like I’m losing my mind
So much to do so little time

A mountain of laundry and papers and bills
I feel like Im walking up an impossible hill

When did things get so out of control
Lately life has been taking its toll

Im losing my touch with what used to be a breeze
Even the mountains were once mastered with ease

Everything suffers
There’s just too much to do!
When I get something done
10 more messes accrue

i wont list the branches of philosophy and i wont go into details. but from what i have studied is that there are realy only two things that philosophy consists of.

1) determining whether reality is actualy there (skepticism)

which is basicaly shown that it is self refuting and has many flaws to the theory.

2) assuming that it is, you base opinions of what the true nature of reality is and base opinions and theories on all the different aspects of life and reality.

Sun is in the stationary position
Our Earth is rotating it self 360 degrees in a day and move arround the Sun approximately 1 degree
for example in the morning my door is facing East and when our earth rotates itself to 180 degrees is it my door step will face west? If it is correct what about Vasthu sasthra?Iam little bit confused pshycologically with this question arising from me.
we find the poles depends on the Sun direction. We are Travelling daily 1000 of kilometers with out knowing us will not change our door directions?

Should be interesting on how some of you interpret these writings.

Untitled

As we creep into darkness, we’re unable to run
For all light has faded along with the sun

Deeper we crawl, until we can no longer take
The heart’s incessant spasms and ache

Our senses are rendered useless, we are on our own
And we tremble at the thought of being alone

Our bodies are frozen, instilled with recurring fear
We try to cry out, but we can’t shed a tear

Our lungs become polluted, we are no longer breathing
But we feel no pain having lost all feeling

Reffering to denial, pointing the blame
And so our vision is denied by shadows and shame

Our eyes are blindfolded, we aren’t able to see
What exactly we have traded for our humanity

A Select Few

Most people are only a brush against your shoulder
As you walk along life’s winding path
Some pass closer than others, some more quickly
But all passing nonetheless
There are those with which you collide, contorting your bearing
And as you reel from the impact you spin to see them waning
Into the haze, the perpetual draft of time, the fray
Often leaving you bewildered, but for only a moment
Because you must, as swiftly as you turned, continue on your way
Life will not stand dormant.
But to a select few, you must frantically reach out and grasp
Cling to them as though you are dangling upon the face of a cliff
Slowly losing grip above eternity’s hypnotic rasp
You essentially are.
For your destination is not far o’er the horizon
As most journeys upon foot prove true
And, so, I confess too you, Abigail…
For me, one of those people…is you.

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone: rough draft
In Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, August Wilson teaches us many things. One of them is to know who you are. Wilson created many characters that are searching for their identity, whether it’s societal, familial, or personal. In August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone he uses identity to show that people need to find out who they are.

Free blacks come to the city to make lives for themselves. They want to make money and raise families without prejudice. But more than that, they are searching for an identity beyond their ancestors being slaves.

This book/play takes place in Pittsburg, Virginia in the year 1911. Slavery is illegal at this time, but a man named Joe Turner captures blacks and enslaves them for many years. The blacks tend to lose their identity once released from Joe Turner’s chain gang. Other characters in this book/play may be younger so they still have time to create a distinct identity for themselves.

With all the information around and available to us, not to mention all of the information that is thrust upon us by force, is there to much for us to handle these days?

Is this "information overload" desensitising us to the horrors and the evils of the world around us, in effect robbing us of our strength of character and humanity?

Serious answers only please.

Thanks.

"Sympathy"

I live inside a shell
Protecting ymself
From being hurt
But I made a mistake and let you in

I want to be the one
I want to be with you
I want it to be just us two
I'm jealous of her

Before she came
I didn't think
I'd want you more then a friend
And now I know how you feel isn't the same

I thought I was special
But I guess I'm not
I thought you knew it too
At least I thought

But now that my heart is shattered
Theres nothing you can do or say
To fix whats been done
I wish it didn't hve to be this way

It was us, it was her
I need to cry
Because of you
I want to die...
But I don't need your sympathy

for example, skepticism has many fallacies and is basicaly self refuting and inconsistent. hjust like the brain in a vat scenerio and solipsism.

so with this in mind why is it that it is deemed irrefutable if it has so many self refuting fallacies?

I'm trying to figure out what these paintings were called or who painted them. They always seemed to depict a very sad-looking street-urchin or (orphan?) type child, that was usually sitting with a pet cat. Both child and pet had huge, sad eyes. As a little kid in the 60's, these seemed to be in every department store my mother took me to. I've searched the internet and can't find any info. Anyone remember these, or what they were called?

if so, are there any flaws in his private language argument?

also, the reason for his argument is to prove that other minds exist in order for language to be possible, an other reason is to argue against solipsism.

but i have a question. is language still impossible if the solipsist imagines other minds and then communicates with other minds? or id language only possible if there are other minds that are not your own? PLEASE HELP!
