I'm a religious person so I follow my religious book, I want to make it to paradise after death as life is pretty much like living in hell...

I believe you are rewarded for good deeds and punished for the bad, so I like to do good

I do not believe that any single religion is the true religion. I do however believe that ALL religions hold elements of truth. The trick is figuring out what that truth is for you.
More importantly I believe that there are only two individuals that truly know what is the truth for any one individual, the individual himself and God, or God's if you prefer, or just you if you're an Atheist lol. No one has the RIGHT to tell another what they should or should not believe and It is for this reason that we must respect others beliefs even if we disagree with them, (sometimes this is harder than the search for truth itself.)
I believe that you can't buy truth or find it in a single book, truth and meaning are elusive and not centralized, it is this elusiveness that gives it validity once you discover it. Life is about finding your own answers not having your questions answered for you by someone else. As Plato said, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Question everything and accept nothing at face value. I believe if you do this, then the truth will make its self known to you.

My philosophy in life?

For me it's being myself, everyday. Being the crazy philosophical D&D nerd who'll crack a joke when he can. It's also being the student whose mind is always open to new ideas. It's the person who acts older than the generation that he's apart of because he sees that the things they believe in are superficial. A guy who believes that "philosophy is the talk on a cereal box."

A man without religion because, as a student with an open mind, he seeks the knowledge to know exactly WHAT "spirituality" is.

A guy who believes that life is the most beautiful thing on the face of this earth, which weaves a rich tapestry of colors and scents and sounds and tastes.

My philosophy? Be yourself. Because you really can't be anyone else.

I am agnostic. I think that religion is just a simple concept for humans to go around because of unexplained phenomena or occurrences. I think that the Bible does help out some, but eventually people twist it to their own way, so in no true way is the Bible a source of good moral instruction. I establish my own morals and standards without influence of theology.

I have the existential ideals.

my philosophy in life???...
TONS of them..
i grew up in a family where rules are strict and a mistake would be deadly...

so just to name a few..

one not mature for love is not ready for one(meaning: if you are not mature, you will just end up hurting people)

its interesting to see how the money makes the world goes round....(meaning:what would people do when the entire world's wealth went missing)

i only trust myself..(reason:don't trust others on your secrets, cause u would not know when they will blurt out them in a moment of anger..)

that's all i can write down....
sometimes philosophy or golden rules are for you to decide..
nobody can help you on this..
hope that I've give you a head-start on this topic....

good night and have a sweet dream...

Hello starjamm.... hard question to a lot of people. Easy answer for me.
My philosophy is to love God with everything I have before anything, or anyone else. Then I am to love the rest of the human race. Simple eh?
It is not easy! It is so hard to live this philosophy; so very hard, but worth every effort I put into it.
Hope this answer helps your question.

i have two philosophies(sp) in life.
1. regret only the chances you didn't take! i try to think every day about what it is i'll regret when i'm gone and it won't be the hours i didn't log in at work, or the tests i failed in school, it will be the all the things i passed on. all the chances i never took.

2. live for the moment.

My philosophy of life is that we were created by God and for God and that only when we are put right with Him through the glorious sacrifice of Jesus do we ever begin to really live. I also believe that God communicates to us through creation, and through the supernatural, powerful Word of God .
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it because I have the joy, contentment, peace, healing, and Holy Spirit to prove it.
