Nope, the Quran teaches evangelism by the sword. It is a blood thirsty religion if taken literally.

How can you condemn something for being ambiguously or vaguely vulgar? It is either vulgar, or it isn't. I think you are confused.

Considering the reverential tone the Quran has of the stories of the Old Testament, and the prophet from the New Testament (Jesus,) I am VERY curious to learn what your interpretation of the Quran is ready to condemn.

Well Punter
(seeing that I could sure use another ten here)
How's---------------- The Satanic Verses (??)
that qualify for a vague (not really) vulgar (maybe somewhat), ambiguous (only slightly) holy book (don't think so) BUT-- that's my choice here ---- what you think ??
This ought to at least give you a moment of dilemma here !!!

If by explicit and clean, you mean a long and repetitive, yet contradictory, rant, then yes, the Qu'ran is the most explicit and clean holy book.

If I'd have to choose something other than the Qu'ran, I'd have to say anything by L Ron Hubbard, if you consider his books "holy."

You seem to be a muslim, and so am I. I respect my religion, which tells me to be tolerant towards other religions and peoople of all faiths. You want to start an argument that is uncalled for. If you want to learn about tolerance and respect of all religions please go to http://www.islamonline.net/english/introducingislam/tolerance/article04.shtml
It might help you clarify your question.
