First what is experience, is it the totality of consciousness, perceptions, creations, emotions, sensations, etc.... Is a drug altering your experience or your experience of your experience? Is the death of a family member altering the experience or the experience of the experience. Are You Experience?

Yes,to give you ON: Drugs (mind altering drugs, hallucinogens, depressants, stimulants) are all examples of outside agents that manipulate our experiences.
