I'm happy, and I want more responsibility. Like a job.

I think I am moderately happy with my life since sometime I achieved success or common interest in our family and sometime I suffered from my thought. I then learn to take all incidents as lessons in a life. If given the chance, I would not ask for more because I know I'm happy when I feel content with what I have, what I do, everything should be fine for me. Years ago, my close friend told me, "Happiness infers less suffering, suffering infers less happiness". I'm sorry I forgot to ask him where he found this quote or he possibly had his own idea. Thus, happiness is always highly relative and the secret is, I think, concerned with how to lessen the relativity.

Oh darlin I'm so very happy with my life..... it's a hoot! The good Lord knows at ten after two in the morning I'm on the Internet without a real worry to suffer for. I've got two dogs that think I'm the greatest hunter in the world. (they can't believe what I come home with after shopping, how can they get that in the woods?) A wife that thinks more of me than the dogs do. The dogs think I carry a damned good conversation and agree with me all the time.
The wife is in love with me still, even after fourteen years, the dogs just love me and that's good enough for them.
I live in a good home with warm blankets, to compliment the warm wife. When it gets too warm me and the wife throw the dogs off the bed.
I have a great talent that keeps me busy all the time. Painting, sculpture, photography, calligraphy, and a whole host of hobbies. My back yard is a delight in the summer and fall. A retreat in the winter, and a joke in the spring. I don't worry about what people think of me anymore, and I never apologize for farting. Burps are a daily treat, and I can eat ice cream anytime of the day, week, month or year without an excuse to do so. Cherry pie too. Life is a lark and I've learnt how to lark it.
Could I ask for anything more? Damn right I can,,,,and I always do. Sometimes I even get what I ask for too. Imagine that eh?
Yep the life of a manic depressive can be the greatest thing in the world. Then your meds go to hell and you with it! It can get so bad, that even the shrink can't help you.
But for now? Tonight? WHOOPEEE!.!.!.!.! the hell with the joke in the back yard it's only spring and it will go away.

Happy enough to not ask this question (or at least think about it). I am constantly meeting /inching up to my goals so needless to say, I don't ask for more.

Happy contemplations are left for the goal-drifty and the unhappy, it seems. Try to not make it an issue by engaging IN life and not evaluate it too much. You will then make happiness a non-issue whereby you extricate yourself from stress and expectations. good luck

I am as happy as I allow myself to be. The trick is, happiness does not come from without,so you get to decide...how happy do I want to be today? I have the chance to ask for more everyday.

Yes. I could ask for more. But, guess what? If I did and, I know, if I got more I would just want more. So I suppose you could say I am quite satisfied with what I do have and await tomorrow to find out what is in store.

Two days ago I was VERY happy and couldn't ask for more. Today the same person made me very unhappy. Happiness isn't a constant.

Very happy! I have a devoted, faithful husband, a very intelligent son and I'm very active in my faith. I love my creator, my family and my great friends.
