Going the wrong direction: Edwardian is a period, if you will, like Victorian. I can't remember exactly what the British ruler's name was, but his reign was remembered as "Edwardian," as Queen Victoria following his was "Victorian." And edwardian script is a generalized example of typography that was popular during that time frame.

The right idea, but the wrong direction. The Edwardian Age consisted in those few years from the death of Victoria (1901) through that of Edward VII (1910), a short but vibrant period in British letters.

No, Edwardian is a Period in history, thats what the script is named after.....It is NOT named after Edward Cullen....Edward just missed it, plus he didn't even live in the UK............besides, the script came out before Stephenie Meyer even thought up Edward.
