We came from dust. We will return to dust. Does the universe transform old beings into new beings from dust? When I am transformed into an other being, do feelings continue?

As the human population grows and resources decrease we may be forced to artificially control the human population using systems similar to China's one child system. However is this social engineering ever morally acceptable.

Is there such a thing as objective reality or is all we understand purely subjective reality?
How can we be certain that what we consider to be objective reality is not purely our subjective opinion? Does majority rule turn subjective reality into objective reality?

-> Nazis had considered Jewish people as a threat to their nation, due to their high positions kept within the government. The phrase “epidemic carrier” has profound meaning that exposes how Jewish people had a huge influential impact on Germany. The hatred of German people towards Jewish people had been kept growing since the majority of Jewish people had occupied on their nation. Their wealth and political power have made them stronger and a huge threat to entire nation of Germany. After Hitler rose to a power, he had to look for a public enemy in order to keep his position and bring nation as one. The Jews were targeted and severely had been tormented by German people.

I live in Peru and they dont sell them here, so I am going to buy them at B&N. I was wondering if they have illustrations like the Harry Potter books or any illustrations at all ? If so are they in the hardcover edition only or in the paperback also ?

I also found two different paperback editions one with the girl and the polar bear on the cover and another black with what appears to be a bear. Which to buy ??

Whenever you're about to sing? How do you warm up your vocals?

If you use music, what songs do you sing to?

If you use some kind of fluids, what do you drink?

Any tips? Advice? I'm interested in all of the things out there.

Why do you think people write poetry? Why do you think people go to the trouble of working in the tight restraints of the sonnet template or in couplets when they could just write prose? I once wrote a paper on this very topic, and I am just interested to see why teenagers especially seem to pour their hearts out in verse. How about if some of you kids tell me why you feel the need for poetry rather than short stories? Just wondering ... Pax - C.

Well, I do have some experience in dance. I take Chinese Dance for about a year.

It goes:

"Act only according to that maxim whereby you can at the same time will that it should become a universal law."

I take that to mean 'would society be able to function if everybody adopted that maxim'.

You might think it would be great for you to sneak in your neighbours back door and steal his DVD player but if everyone did that kind of thing society would collapse.

Have I understood?

What is a good book for a female teenager to read. A book that keeps you thinking, and is not childish? Drama, mystery, sci-fi, are all good.

What do you feel is your reason for living? Do you ever wonder why you are here, and what's the point..if there is one? I'm also beginning to wonder that a lot of people who are religous, mainly are religous because they are afraid of death (of course that would never be admitted!), and the fact that there really may be NOTHING after you die..

Are you afraid of death? When did you realize that you weren't going to live forever, and that EVERYONE has the same fate? Do you accept the fact you will one day die, or does it secretely scare you? Did you go through a phase in your life where the word 'death' constantly loomed in your mind?

I have been asked to sing "Ave Maria" at my sister-in-law's wedding. I am a trained singer who performs often on stage, but I always get very nervous. I'm worried that my emotions will get the better of me at the wedding (who doesn't cry at a wedding?) Last year I sang at my best friend's wedding, and the song was barely audible. I sobbed through two pieces and once I "lost it," I couldn't regain my composure. Although everyone said it was lovely that I was so emotional, I do not want a repeat at my family's wedding. Maybe something has worked for someone in the past, and they can help me out. I am willing to try any little tricks or tips you might have. Thank you so much!
